Task Assignment on the NVC360 Platform
As you create tasks on the NVC360 platform, you can assign them manually or automatically, based on your preferred workflow.
Manual Task Assignment
1. Creating a New Task:
Choose “Create Task” or “Bulk Import Tasks.”
Fill out all required details in the task creation form.
Select a team from the dropdown.
Choose one or more agents in the “Assign Agent” section.
Click “Submit” to finalize the task.
2. Assigning Existing Tasks:
Navigate to the “Tasks” panel on the left sidebar.
In the Actions column, click the three-dot menu for a task and choose “Assign.”
Select an agent and click “Submit” to complete the process.
3. Assigning from the Dashboard:
From the dashboard, open the “Unassigned” tab on the top left panel.
Click on the “Assign Agent” button on the task tile.
A popup will appear with a dropdown list of idle agents.
Select the agent to immediately assign the task.
Auto Allocation
Automatically assign tasks in NVC360 using the Auto Allocation feature for maximum efficiency.
To Enable/Disable Auto Allocation: Go to Menu > Settings > Account Setup > Auto Allocation.
Auto Allocation is based on two core factors:
- Nearest agent (based on displacement)
- Available agent (based on scheduling)
You can configure notifications and task assignment methods in several ways:
Auto Allocation Methods
1. One by One:
The request is sent to the nearest and most available agent.
If the agent doesn’t respond within the set time or declines, the system automatically forwards it to the next best option.
2. Send to All:
Broadcasts the request to all available agents.
The first to accept gets the assignment.
3. Batch Wise:
Requests are sent in batches based on distance, timing, and group size.
The task is assigned to the first agent who accepts within each batch.
If no one accepts, it remains unassigned.
4. Round Robin:
Distributes tasks evenly among agents by balancing maximum task count and proximity.
NVC360 filters out agents who’ve reached their task limit for the day, then assigns the task to the most optimal remaining agent.
5. Nearest Available:
Tasks are force-assigned based on distance and current availability.
The agent closest to the task location or currently idle gets the assignment.
6. First In First Out (FIFO):
Tasks are queued in order of creation.
New tasks won’t be assigned until earlier ones are.
This method also supports batch-based notifications using distance, time, and group size parameters.
