Add Agents in NVC360
This guide walks you through the process of adding, importing, and managing agents within your NVC360 dashboard.
Add an Agent Manually
To get started:
- Go to the “Agents” tab on the left-hand menu of your NVC360 dashboard.
- Click “Add Agent” on the top-right corner.
- Fill out the agent’s profile using the following fields:
Required Fields:
- First Name: Enter the agent’s first name.
- Phone Number: Select the country code and provide a valid number.
- Username: A unique username for agent login.
- Assign to Team: Choose a team from the dropdown.
- Agent Type: Choose between Captive (full-time) or Freelancer (part-time).
Optional Fields:
- Last Name
- Email: Must be unique.
- Password
- Tags: Assign skill or task-specific tags (used in tag-based allocation).
- Role: Select a role (must be pre-created under Access Control).
- Home Address
- Geofence: Assign geofences to restrict agent operations to certain zones.
- Transport Type: Define the vehicle type and details used by the agent.
Note: All mandatory fields must be completed to successfully add an agent.
Import Agents in Bulk (CSV Upload)
If you're adding multiple agents at once, use the bulk import feature:
- Download the sample CSV template.
- Fill in agent details as per column headers.
- Save the file as .csv.
- In NVC360, go to Dashboard > Agents > Import Agent, then click Upload and select your file.
Important Notes:
- Each agent must have a unique email and username.
- Do not edit column headers in the CSV.
- All required fields must be completed for each agent row.
Agent Invitations
Once added, each agent receives an email invitation. Upon logging in for the first time, they must agree to NVC360’s Terms and Conditions and set their status to “On-Duty” to begin receiving task notifications.
Removing Agents
There are two ways to delete agents in NVC360:
- Bulk Removal: In the Agents list, use checkboxes to select agents. Click Bulk Action > Delete Agent.
- Individual Deletion: Use the “Action” dropdown beside an agent’s name to select Delete.
Tasks are the foundation of operations within NVC360. Whether it’s a pickup, a delivery, or both, NVC360 allows you to manually create and manage tasks to suit your specific workflows.
Manually Creating a Task
To manually create a task:
- Click the “Create Task” button on your NVC360 admin dashboard.
- Tasks can be created in either Map View or List View.
- In the task window, input all required fields:
- Task Scenarios Supported:
- Pickup only
- Delivery only
- Single pickup & single delivery
- Single pickup & multiple deliveries
- Multiple pickups & single delivery
- Click “+ Pickup” or “+ Delivery” to add the respective addresses and information.
Task Fields
- Optional: Customer Name, Contact Number, Email, Order ID, Description
- Required: Pickup/Delivery Address, Due Time
- Add further customization using a task template.
You can also add more points using the “Add Another Point” option.
Editing, Duplicating, or Deleting a Task
Editing a Task
- Tasks are editable until they are completed.
- To edit:
- In Map View: Double-click the task > Click the three-dot icon > Select “Edit Stop”
- In List View: Click the task ID or three-dot icon > Select “Edit”
- Bulk Edits: Available for date/time, tags, and team assignments.
Duplicating a Task
- In Map View: Double-click the task > Click the three-dot icon > Select “Duplicate Stop”
- In List View: Click the task ID or three-dot icon > Select “Duplicate”
- The task retains all details except delivery times.
Deleting a Task
- Deletion removes the task from both the dashboard and agent app permanently.
- To delete:
- In Map View: Double-click the task > Click the three-dot icon > Select “Delete Stop”
- In List View: Use the three-dot icon or task ID to delete.
- Bulk Delete: Select multiple tasks in the list view using checkboxes > Choose “Bulk Action” > “Delete”
Changing Task Status
- In Map View: Open the task > Click the three-dot icon > Select “Change Stop Status”
- In List View: Select tasks using checkboxes > Bulk Action > “Change Status”
Importing Tasks via CSV
For high-volume operations, NVC360 supports bulk task creation through CSV imports.
Steps:
- Go to Create Task > Dropdown > Bulk Import
- Download the sample CSV
- Fill in your task data and upload it
Required CSV Data Fields:
- Customer Details: Email, Name, Phone, Address, City, Zip, Country
- Location Coordinates: Latitude, Longitude (both required for map pinpointing)
- Timing: Pickup and Delivery Date & Time (MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS)
- Assignment (Optional): Agent ID, Team
- Task Description: Order details, notes, etc.
Pickup Fields (for connected tasks):
- Pickup customer name, email, phone, address, coordinates, and scheduled time
Notes:
- Mandatory fields are marked with asterisks in the CSV
- Leave delivery fields blank for pickup-only tasks and vice versa
- Do not edit the CSV header names
- Both latitude and longitude must be included for accurate location plotting
