NVC360 Inc. is a field operations and client communication platform headquartered in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. We provide software solutions to businesses that deploy field technicians, helping them manage dispatch, scheduling, real-time tracking, and automated client communications.

2 Permissions

The NVC360 application may request access to certain device permissions including location services, camera, and notifications. These permissions are used solely to provide the core functionality of the platform.

  • Location Services: Used for technician tracking, dispatch routing, and estimated arrival times. See Section 3 for full details.
  • Camera: Used for capturing job-site photos, document scanning, and proof-of-completion images.
  • Notifications: Used for real-time job alerts, dispatch updates, and customer communication notifications.
Your Control — All permissions are optional and can be managed through your device settings at any time. Disabling a permission may limit certain features of the application.

3 Location Data

The NVC360 mobile application may collect and process device location information to enable core features of the platform.

3.1 What Location Data We Collect

NVC360 may collect the following types of location data from a user’s mobile device:

  • Precise location data (GPS coordinates).
  • Approximate location data derived from network sources such as Wi-Fi or cellular networks.
  • Background location data when the application is running in the background.
Consent Required — Location data is only collected when the user grants permission through the device operating system.

3.2 How Location Data Is Used

Location information is used solely to support the operational functionality of the NVC360 platform, including:

  • Tracking the location of field technicians and vehicles.
  • Providing real-time job dispatching and routing.
  • Displaying technician estimated arrival times.
  • Improving operational visibility for businesses managing mobile workforces.
  • Enabling location-based notifications and job updates.

These features allow businesses to coordinate field service operations more efficiently and provide accurate updates to customers. As described in NVC360’s business model, the platform enables managers to dispatch tasks, track technician locations, and monitor job progress from a centralized dashboard.

3.3 When Location Data Is Collected

Location data may be collected:

  • When the app is actively being used.
  • When the app is running in the background (if background location permission is granted).
  • When a work session or job tracking feature is active.

Users may disable location access at any time through their device settings.

3.4 How Location Data Is Shared

Location data is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising purposes. Location data may be shared only with:

  • The user’s employer or organization using the NVC360 platform.
  • Authorized administrators within the NVC360 service.
  • Service providers necessary for operating the platform (such as secure cloud hosting providers).

All data is processed in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws.

3.5 User Control Over Location Data

Users have full control over location permissions and may:

  • Enable or disable location services through their device settings.
  • Restrict location access to “While Using the App” only.
  • Revoke location permission at any time.
Important — Disabling location services may limit certain functionality within the NVC360 application, such as real-time tracking and automated dispatch routing.

3.6 Location Data Security

NVC360 implements reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect location information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

4 Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

4.1 Information You Provide

  • Beta / Contact Forms: First name, last name, company name, email address, phone number, team size, and industry.
  • Account Registration: Name, email, password (hashed), company details.
  • Support Requests: Communications, attachments, and issue descriptions.
  • Payment Information: Processed by third-party processors (e.g., Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.

4.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Log Data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time and date of visits, referring URL.
  • Device Data: Device type, operating system, screen resolution.
  • Cookies & Tracking: Session cookies, preference cookies, and analytics cookies. See Section 9.
  • Usage Data: Features used, frequency of use, error reports within the platform.

4.3 Information from Third Parties

  • Analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics — anonymized).
  • Integration partners when you connect third-party tools (e.g., CRM, payroll, accounting software).

5 How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the NVC360 platform and website.
  • Process beta access requests and respond to inquiries.

6 Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Service Providers: Hosting (GoDaddy), email delivery (Resend), payment processing (Stripe), analytics (Google Analytics — anonymized). All bound by data processing agreements.
  • Integration Partners: Only data you explicitly authorize when connecting third-party tools.
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, with the same privacy protections applied.

7 Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this policy:

  • Beta / Contact Form Submissions: Retained for up to 3 years from submission date.
  • Account Data: Retained for the duration of the account plus 2 years after closure.
  • Log Data: Retained for up to 12 months.
  • Financial Records: Retained for 7 years as required by Canadian tax law.

Under PIPEDA and applicable Canadian privacy law, you have the right to:
